The result of my creative endeavor is an assortment of bikini or apron clad bears and my cookie divas.

All Things Lead To Food. The kitchen is the hub of all social events in my home. Holiday parties, outdoor BBQ, BBQ Team Competition, luncheons, dinner and brunch-everyone still migrates to the kitchen and food.

Oh my heavens........bear cookies for my teddy bear picnic.sylvie you are one talented lady....
These are so colorful! What a gift to receive. You'll have to as doodles about her "Ginger Bears."
They're wonderful! I really like the fondant patterns. I'm confused, though. How did you get the fondant to stick to the cooled cookie? And did you cut it out using the same cookie cutter? Great idea!
Thank you all very much. I use the same cookie cutter as the cookies. Because the cookies spread when baked, the same cutter used on the fondant is smaller. I make a simple syrup mixture which I paint on the cookies and this allows the fondant to srick.
I like the vibrant colors. I'll add a post with a link to the recipes.
How do you do cookies with several different colors of fondant like that? I'm just know pondering making/or trying to make some fondant cookies for a baby shower, but I'm afraid it may be more than I can handle having never worked with it before. Did you just hand cut each different color? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
