Decorated Sugar Cookies For A Baby Shower

I finally got around to finishing the cookies for my neice's baby shower. I wish I could have spent a little more time on perfecting them but all in all I am pleased with the results.

I used my favorite recipe for the sugar cookies and the royal icing. Both have never failed me.












Thanks to Nancy for a few design ideas and for jump starting my interest in doing this project.

    Those cookies are so great!! To make lives easier Wilton cakes has made icing that is already made and mixed for decorating cookies. I haven't used them yet, but they look like it would make the whole process go quicker.

    Once again those are adorable.

    ...and I just wanted to add my touche' to you too Sylv. As the fortunate niece of those adorable cookies for my shower, I just wanted to add that my hat is off to my talented aunt. The shower cookies were definitely the talk of the day, and it took us almost a week before we ate those special ones that you made....just couldn't bring ourselves to biting into them. :) Thank You So Much!!!
