My New Year's Day dinner menu is a combination of simple soul foods. Black eyed peas, southern green, oxtail stew, cornbread and rice. This is the same menu as last year's with a post from Jan 1, 2006 on the significance of the choices and the recipes. Everything is currently cooking so here is my dinner in progress.
